The seventh edition of the event proposes to continue the reflection on the relationship between design and sustainability from a look at the human dimension involved in transdisciplinary practices, products and processes. Humanities, as a focus, means the consideration of the human element as the end, middle and inherent process of design in all its complexity, comprehensiveness and ramifications in social, cultural, political and economic contexts.

 

The symbiosis between sustainability and humanity in design supports several approaches, concepts and premises whose convergence has been evident in the world scenario in the last decade, and it is this discussion that the SDS 2019 wants to emerge.
